Did anyone else watch this show? It was horrid. Of course, ABC is owned by Disney, and every Christian knows that Eisner, and his band of secular humanists are Jews that hate everything about Jesus.
Plus: Opinions by Elaine Pagels, Jerry Jenkins, Ben Witherington III, John Shelby Spong, A.N. Wilson, Richard B. Hays and more...
About 80% of the airtime was devoted to Jews, or outright deniers of Christ's divinity like Spong and John Dominic Crossens.

They kept calling Christianity, the "Jesus sect" and other derogatory terms.

So, who else watched this abomination?

I certainly concur. I would like to have seen some conservative scholars as well, but quite frankly I was not surprised. The Enemy would not permit one of his major weapons to be used for good. Or, in other words, if ABC should inadvertently put someone who actually believes in the Bible and salvation through Jesus Christ on the air, someone might hear the Glorious Gospel and get saved from a devil's hell. That is exactly what the Enemy fights to prevent.

Why then this broadcast? Because people everywhere are interested in Jesus Christ right now because of the success of the Passion of the Christ. Accordingly, Satan has put his forces into action to assure our "intellectually enlightened" culture that the message of the Bible cannot possibly be true. ABC has therefore lined up a panel of "Biblical scholars and experts" to tell us what really happened almost 2,000 years ago (despite the fact that none of them were there) and discredit the most reliable evidence that could ever be had of any event -- the eyewitness testimony of those who were there!

Anyway, I too will be warning my congregation that the deck is stacked as usual. I will also tell them to judge the words of the so-called experts by the Word of God.

A Bond-slave of Christ,

Rodney D. Chrisman

Let Jennings, ABC Hear from You
on Blasphemous 'Jesus and Paul' Special

Network has produced another show loaded with liberal theologians and permeated with a sense of unbelief.

Peter Jennings is at it again.

The "ABC World News Tonight" anchor is the driving force behind Monday night's three-hour network special "Jesus and Paul -- the Word and the Witness." Like "The Search for Jesus," a previous ABC special Jennings shepherded, the new show is filled with "expert" analysis from liberal theologians and carries the underlying worldview of unbelief in Scripture and Jesus' divinity.

"Jennings repeatedly refers to 'the Jesus movement' as if it were just another political party or faction," Focus on the Family's Tom Neven writes in his review of the special. "They also pit Paul against Jesus, as if the apostle taught things that contradicted Jesus, and some refer to Paul as 'the founder of Christianity.' "

Dr. James Dobson, founder and chairman of Focus on the Family, has urged listeners to contact Jennings and ABC and express their displeasure with the content of "Jesus and Paul." You can use the contact information below to do just that.

• To call Jennings' office directly, dial 212-456-4027 or call 212-456-4025.

• You also can express your displeasure to the executives at your local ABC affiliate -- in fact, that might be the most effective way to protest. To find contact information, including phone and fax numbers and an easy-to-use e-mail form, click here and then type your ZIP code into the space provided.

Didn't even bother watching it. It's amazing what people would do these days, just leave Christianity to the Christians, and stop having anti-Christians explain it away.

It seemed to be a remake of carp from the History channel.

Did anybody expect anything different?

Both channels are owned by the same parent company, Disney and Disney is owned by secular humanists, many Jews in leadership who dislike any form of Christianity, so it is only natural that what you saw on TV is only a PORTION of what they wanted to do, but didn't dare to....

AngelofJesus

St. Michael the Archangel,
defend us in battle,
be our protection against the malice
and snare of the devil.
We humbly beseech God to command
him, and do thou,
O Prince of the Heavenly Host,
by the divine power thrust into hell
satan, and other evil spirits
who roam through the world,
seeking the ruin of souls.

Amen.

Do be careful, folks, not to cast vitriol against the Jewish people writ large. The anti-Christian sentiment that pervades mainstream media and entertainment is of the Enemy, not of the Jews...
