I prefer tea since you don't have to make a whole pot, drink half of it, and waste a lot of coffee grounds. Also tea is much more delicious and flavorful.

"Tea tempers the spirits and harmonizes the mind, dispels lassitude
and relieves fatigue, awakens thought and prevents drowsiness,
lightens or refreshes the body, and clears the perceptive faculties."
CONFUCIOUS

I haven't drank coffee since St. Patrick's Day in 1988. There was an incident.

Tea, it depends on the kind. I can be a bit of a snob.

My favorite though is cocoa. Mexican, especially Mayordomo from Oaxaca. Even better is some freshly made off a metate y mano and whipped to a froth by hand with a molinillo. I need a vacation.

I definitely prefer tea and drink it far more often. I never drink coffee unless it is heavily flavored and altered from its natural state

Both. :))

However, I must admit there are times with strong coffee is just absolutely necessary... and a nice cuppa strong tea doesn't quite cut it. :coffee: :twitch:

TEA!!!

I'm somewhat obsessed with tea. I mostly drink green tea. Has anyone ever had genmaicha? It's a Japanese green tea that has a somewhat popcorn-like flavor. One of my favorites.

Adagio has tiny tins of all their teas so you can try different stuff out. I got the white tea sampler & loved it. Especially the strange-sounding white cucumber.

I've been trying to cut back on caffeine, so I've started drinking more herbal & red tea . The other week I walked past a restaurant that was advertising a "red velvet tea latte" - red tea with chocolate & milk, I'm guessing.

Right now, I'm sipping chamomile. Cuz it's bedtime

 chamomile. Definitely one of my faves.

I think I need to check out that Adagio site... Thanks for the mention! :) (I always love finding a new teas!)

Edit: Okay, just checking out the Adagio site -- fabulousness! I think it may rekindle my former tea-obsession...

I love hot tea. Especially Bigelow's Orange Spice! A cup of tea makes me happy. :)

I also love Arizona's Lemon Iced Tea. I get the HUGE cans of that stuff and drink it like it's going out of style! I ran out of it, so I had to make a dash to the grocery store to buy some more. It's addictive! But it's better for you than cola. :))
