BLAZEr
If for whatever reason, I was to discern a call to marriage instead of the priesthood, this is what I would do. I would take my girlfriend to Notre Dame on a non-football weekend. We would make a pilgrimage to the Basillica of the Sacred Heart and I would explain to her how I used to sit on one side of the basillica before communion so I could look at Mary's Immaculate Heart and then move to the other side after communion so I could see Jesus' Sacred Heart. Then I would take her to the Grotto of Lourdes. I would light three Candles, one for the Sacred Heart of Jesus, One for the Immaculate Heart of Mary, and One for the heart of my true love. I would then get on my knee and say "It was in this place that I gave my heart to Mary, and I asked her to guard it for me and tend it, and help it to grow in love for her Son so that if I was ever to fall in Love my heart would be ready to love fully. Today I ask my Mother Mary to offer my heart to you. Will you marry me?" Ok, yes, I've thought about this a lot. I'm a romantic, what can I say?
