CatherineM
I watched the first two seasons of Lost, then moved to Canada where I couldn't get that channel on the rabbit ears. I saw an episode while staying in a hotel about a year ago, and they were all in the past. It was just too weird, and I guess I'd missed too much in the meantime. MissyP89
I only saw one episode, but the premise is interesting. If we knew bits of our future, how would we behave?
CatherineM
I found one group really interesting. The group who had no visions of the future. All are assuming they will die sometime within the next 6 months. Normal, calm people have just gone nuts, acting out, playing Russian Roulette. No one thinks about the fact they could have been asleep. The book the series is based on, had visions from 21 years in the future. Much different dynamic. If you think you aren't going to be alive in 20 years, you might start eating better or going to the gym. Dying in 6 months makes you think more about some kind of accident you can't avoid, so might as well party hardy.
jeffpugh
Yeah, but the blue hand partied... well... was it partying?
Apotheoun
I haven't watched it in months. I will try to look up a few episodes on Hulu.
CatherineM
I'm enjoying trying to figure out which scenarios are going to come true, and which ones are going to fail because of the changes that pre-knowledge is bringing.

Like the woman who was being drowned by some random guy she later recognised in the hospital, or No's supposed death to his partner's gun... I gotta say, I think one of the funniest episodes was the one where the guy had no fear and he had a flash-forward where he was "black". Lawl. It was all because of pigment or something being processed instead of extra adrenaline. Win.

Thy Geekdom Come
Saw the final episode...they cancelled the series on a cliffhanger! ARGH!
CatherineM
I'm hoping another cable channel will pick it up, or they will let them do a TV movie to sum up. They did that when they canceled Alien Nation.
Apotheoun
I doubt a tv movie will be made, because the ratings for the show crashed.
CatherineM
Maybe a book then.

[/quote] I doubt that any publisher would want book sales to drop so low. Edited May 28, 2010 by Apotheoun
