Coin Collection, Stamp Collection

I know there are passages in thebible that speak against hording material goods, even for futureuse. Keeping that in mind, is there anythingsinful about collecting oins, or stamps or other?

I don't think there's anything intrinsically wrong with collecting (coins, stamps, comics, etc.). These things are considered hobbies to many people and provide leisure for them. I would stress that we should make sure that we are taking care of our responsibilities (bills, tithing, etc.) before spending money to collect such things. Placing something that is a hobby before your true responsibilities would be inappropriate and possibly sinful though to what degree I can't give a definite. So I say as long as you are taking care of your true responsibilities and collecting is just leisure for you then I don't see any issues :)Leisure is a good thing!

I would add to the excellent and true post above that if it is really bothering you, go sell all you have and give the money to the poor. That would be an awesomely good story.
