I called my alderman's office twice to follow up on my email; there was no answer. However, my alderman resigned yesterday; fortunately, his replacement voted "No" (if I heard the Council webcast correctly).

Check on my alderman for me? George Cardenas of the 12th Ward. (Yes, I live in the 'hood. Excuse me, barrio ...) How'd he vote? If he voted in favor, I'm going to have to remind him kindly that he represents a neighborhood of Catholic Latinos ...
