Good Friday
Is it wrong for a Christian to commemorate Jewish holidays, like Passover for instance? I ask because I have a Jewish heritage, and although I doubt I'll be doing the whole Seder Meal (my family hasn't been practicing Judaism since the early 1900s, so I wouldn't even know where to begin), I feel that I should commemorate Passover in some way. Would that be wrong?
Pio Nono
JMJ 4/5 - Monday of Holy Week Good Friday, No, I don't believe it is sinful or in any way harmful to commemorate Jewish feasts like Passover. In fact, some feasts can be good times to celebrate their Christian fulfillment (i.e. Yom Kippur might be a good day to fast and meditate on the Passion). Those of us under the Noahide Law, though, envy you. Yours, Pio Nono
