N/A Gone
I am working on a paper of a personal nature about the origin of Anglicanism and their validity as a "Catholic" faith. Could anybody provide some credible resources?
OraProMe
Usually Anglicans claim that their Church was founded by St. Augustine of Canterbury when he introduced Christianity to England, not Henry VIII when he couldn't keep it in his pants. You'll often see the distinction between the Catholic Church (Roman Catholicism) and the Church Catholic (the universal Church. Any group that has apostolic succesion, the Eucharist and the central doctrines of the early Church). But there's a lot of room in Anglicanism so you'll find some that don't have the Eucharist, Apostolic succesion, don't believe in Transubstantiation or the perpetual virginity of Mary. N/A Gone
I know. Gotta link? Sources are what I want. My friend is an anglo-catholic so I am more familiar with the traditional aspects of current anglicanism.
