There are people who are mature Catholics on this site, but there are plenty who aren't as well.
It won't let me any more. Perhaps the moderators would be good enough to remove the link from the posts. ~Sternhauser

If you do want to remove it, just send a PM to one of the friendly neighborhood mods.
InHisLove726
I have a font next to my personal home altar in my bedroom. It's not really an 'altar' per se, but more of a prayer shelf. The font is plastic and has the Sacred Heart image on it, and I purchased it at a Catholic bookshop connected to a Church. The only problem is, it doesn't stay filled since my room is very dry and it soaks up the water. I really need to fill the holy water bottle up soon before I run out. rhetoricfemme
Yeah, my grandparents always made sure there was one in the nursery. We don't have one in Aaron's room (dad is looking for the one from his as a baby). We do have a nice crucifix one by the front door. We try to make it a habit to bless Aaron whenever we leave the house. He actually will look directly at the font now and at us when we head out the door. He knows he's supposed to get blessed before he goes anywhere lol
I Love it! If only all children had something like this in their lives... Satan and his demons put in a backhanded plug for holy water fonts in homes, the rosary, and altar rails, during the exorcism of Annaliese Michel. (The exorcism on which "The Exorcism of Emily Rose" was loosely based. If you didn't know, that ape Satan, as well as his minions, can be a bit vulgar and irreverent at times, so don't read if you're faint of heart, but here's the actual transcript of the tape from some of the exorcism. The tape used to be on the site. I listened to it. It appears that the demon's hate-filled snarls were not included in the transcript. A very patient priest, too, who doesn't take nonsense or lies for an answer to his questions. It also shows how childish the demons are. http://dominicanidah...semichelle.html ~Sternhauser
I read part of the transcript but decided to stop pretty early into it. By, "backhanded plug," do you mean that Satan will try to use information against us? Or that by taking steps to deepen our faith and commitment to Christ and His church that we become a more focused target for the devil?
