Piccoli Fiori JMJ
I've been working on a new Youth Ministry site for my parish, and I wanted to know what you thought of it and what could be changed or made better. The Website Also, most of the links do not link to anything yet. There will be some images forthcoming as well. So this is it for the time being. Thanks!

scardella
I'm thinking the alternation in text from dark-on-light to light-on-dark will get tiresome on the eyes.
Little Lamb
I think the design looks great. The colour scheme is good & the overall look is joyful.
scardella
Otherwise, the layout seems good, the text is legible, the graphics work well. I like the rotating story thing at the top. I think the icon next to the URL is weak, though. It's too generic. My only usability criticism (besides the alternating light/dark backgrounds) is that you should have alt-texts on all your images. Laudate_Dominum
Even if I were qualified I would not presume to critique a site that is not in need of critiquing.
morostheos
It looks great! I really like the setup. A few suggestions... I think the background stuff on the sides could be a little less bold. As it is, my attention is mostly drawn to the sides when it should be focused more on the information. The time for the rotating stories at the top could be a little longer, or you could include less text in them - I couldn't read through all of the info easily before it moved on. I'm involved in the Spirit and Truth group here in Chicago, run by Michael Sullivan. By chance, have we met at all? My name's Kris, and I'm short Irish kid with sandy-brown hair, a red goatee, and can be kinda loud. mommas_boy
Back to the website: I like the colors quite a bit. Also, thank you for providing info for young adults as well. One design problem: I'm using Firefox 3.0.14, and there is a rather large white space between the top header, and the first item of content. Granted, I'm using it on Linux, so that might be the issue in itself. Did anyone else notice this problem in Firefox: (Hmm. Was trying to take a screenshot, but the program isn't working...) let_go_let_God
The only critique I have is that the change from one "headline" to the next is a bit too fast. God bless- LGLG
rhetoricfemme
I really like it! The color variation makes it easy to discern what you're looking at, and it's not overwhelming. It's detailed, but not busy, and easy to read.
