CorMaria
Does anyone know a novena for purity?
holly.o
You can pray to St. Agnes. I couldn't find a novena online, but you could compose your own prayer to say for 9 days.
CatherineM
You could do the Purity Prayer. Prayer for Purity Jesus, Lover of chastity, Mary, Mother most pure, and Joseph, chaste guardian of the Virgin, to you I come at this hour, begging you to plead with God for me. I earnestly wish to be pure in thought, word and deed in imitation of your own holy purity. Obtain for me, then, a deep sense of modesty which will be reflected in my external conduct. Protect my eyes, the windows of my soul, from anything that might dim the luster of a heart that must mirror only Christlike purity. And when the "Bread of Angels becomes the Bread of me" in my heart at Holy Communion, seal it forever against the suggestions of sinful pleasures. Heart of Jesus, Fount of all purity, have mercy on us.
CorMaria
That is a really beautiful prayer. I'll attempt to memorise it. Thanks.
perfectunion33
I dont know of any novena, but I do have some advice. If you are struggling with impurity it would be a good idea to pray more, especially to our Blessed Mother and St. Joseph, also you need to keep custody of the eyes. What I mean by custody of the eyes, is that you mortify youself by not allowing youself to look at anything or anyone that may cause you to become impure whether by thought, word, or deed. The less you give in to any temptation of the flesh, the more pure you will become. Anyway, I hope this helps. May God bless you with the immaculate purity of His Mother, and draw you closer to Himself.
