I only drink coffee when I need the caffeine, and then I have to throw in a packet of hot chocolate or three bags of sugar to make it edible. [/quote]

We Latin snobs like to say 'potable.' :detective:

Anyways, that was how I got into the habit. Actually it was:

High school: Frappucinos

College freshman year, before 8 am classes: coffee with hot chocolate mix

Study-abroad and beyond: Coffee coffee coffee!!

I despise coffee... for about two months in the monastery I was in charge of making the coffee for breakfast. Gag me. That stuff was smells so nasty. On feast days though we would do fancy flavors... Hazelnut Gingerbread was a big hit during the Christmas octave. Some of those smelled alright, but I never did become a coffee drinker. I broke all the rules. ^_^

But one day a sister complained that I wasn't labeling the coffee when it was labeled, because she doesn't LIKE it flavored. In other words, she LIKED that nasty regular stuff. This is still incomprehensible to me. :idontknow:

They're crazy about their coffee... I dare someone to guess how much half and half they go through every week.

And there's one sister that saves all the leftover flavored coffee... as well as everything else... so we don't waste it. She would steal all my pitchers and fill them up with coffee and I'd go looking for them, and lo and behold, they were full of flavored coffee. How she managed to drink it all was beyond me.

I like garlic, if it's used properly.

I'm a tea person myself. No coffee for me, thanks! The funny thing is only a couple of years ago I absolutely abhorred tea, too!:topsy: I taught myself to drink it, and now I really enjoy my cup of tea.

If not for coffee, I would probably collapse. I should cut back and drink more tea. Garlic is a beautiful thing.

Add some skittles and a shake and you got yourself a good 1/2 hour on the john + 10min + 20minutes=1 hour "going".
