CatherineM
I'm getting all my patterns together for my Christmas sewing this year. I'm doing closet organizers and little travel bags for most of my friends. For the ones who knit or crochet, I'm doing some needle and yarn organizers like these: I'm making this for my husband: ---------------- Now playing: Shawn McDonald - Shadowlands via FoxyTunes
zunshynn
My economics teacher says that people who make Christmas gifts should be gotten rid of for messing up the economy. Personally, I like gifts that were made by hand. They're nicer in quality and of more value. I like the bag idea. I can't sew though and basically have no aptitude for anything crafty. Are you making the brown coat for your husband or the purple one?
Selah
I can barely crochet (it's pathetic, really), but I love latch hook. You can make pillows with those rugs!
cmotherofpirl
I'm thinking of crocheting a small sweater set for the new baby in Christmas colors. I will be cross stitching Jellybean's sweatshirt with her name in Gaelic, making an afghan and scarf for my daughter, not sure what yet for the boys. I'm thinking of enlarging and framing their favorite racing/running pics from this year. I have a good one of #1 son winning a crit, and I'm gonna take pics of #2 in the Great Race. CatherineM
I just hope that when he goes out in it, that his doctor doesn't see him. He might get his meds upped a bit.

picchick
I would like to make an apron for my mom. It looks simple enough...after my last sewing project...I need something simple.
homeschoolmom
I'm not (I don't sew), but a friend of mine is sewing me a Christmas vest-- we're picking out the fabric tonight. She's made me a few other vests and they are reversible, so I can pick two fabrics. I keep vacillating between a beautiful, rich red with gold on one side, cream and gold on the other..... OR Gingerbread men on one side and Charlie Brown Christmas on the other (and those who know me know I would totally wear that, too).
Apparently he thinks that's not enough. But he also thinks the world is overpopulated and contraception will solve most of our economic problems. And what it doesn't, wouldn't be an issue if the larger economy operated like drug dealers. So, yeah... I take his thoughts with a grain of salt, more or less. homeschoolmom
<sigh> We had to postpone... So, I have to continue to wonder if I'm going with golden elegance or playful folly.
