ilovechrist
While I will agree that much of Greek Life today has gone by the wayside only to continue the high school drama, I have been fascinated during my four years here at my undergrad by the way that Greek Life and Households so eloquently contribute to campus life in their own unique way. Being a member of Brothers in Christ - Sons of Mary Household, I have consistently remained friends with those in the more popular fraternities on campus (Phi Kappa Theta, Kappa Sigma) who are consistently active in giving back as well as raising up the standards of the members. There are definitely Greek organizations elsewhere who tarnish the name as a whole, but I feel there's something to be said for the groups at smaller schools who try daily to make a difference. Mine is the first, and the best btw. LOL [/quote] My brother's frat was second in your list. At my uni, the Phi Taus and Fijis were generally good guys, and did some good things for philanthropy. A couple of the frats were heavy partiers, and got in trouble, but that wasn't the overall feel of Greek life there. There was a university-wide rule that anyone in Greek life had mandatory study times in the library.
