Eventually everything works out. [/quote] I agree. The essence of God's plan is that we live our lives to get to heaven. But where in our faith does it say that God is a micromanaging God? I wonder if some of the questions people pose about "what is God's will?" is really a result of an inability to make and stick to a decision. There are plenty of examples in Sacred Scripture and Tradition of people who had a specific vocational calling. While every person might not get that sort of definitive "voice from heaven," I don't think it is a sign of indecisiveness for a person to wonder what direction in life God might have for them, or at the least to wonder what is the best path to accomplish the essence of God's plan (that we live our lives to get to heaven). CatherineM
I've never minded doing God's will for me, I just wish that he'd let me in on what it was exactly.
