Jesus Knows The Final Hour Now?

Recommended Posts

I heard not to long ago that, when Jesus made the statement that he doesn't know the day or hour of the final hour (only God), he said that while on Earth. But since he is in heaven, now he knows.

Wondering what some of your thoughts on this are.
So it's orthodox to say that... he knows now right?
Him being the Son of God and all, I'm sure He got a tip-off ;)

The verse in question is Mark 13:32. I looked into this a while ago because I asked the same question. It is a verse used by Arian apologists to deny the divinity of Christ. Upon reading the verse, we would believe that Jesus didn't know when the final hour was, but the Fathers (including Augustine and Hilar of Poitiers) argue that he DID know when the final hour was (pointing to a verse in the Acts of the Apostles), in a defense of the faith against Arianism. I can't remember the link however, but maybe somebody else here has it (I believe it was an article from a particular Ivy League school).
