Guest Guest_allis-challmers
When I was first taught the Our Father I was allways taught to end it with the words amen Which I think means I belive, an afformation that what we belive what we just said. Now when I hear the Our Father everyone has dropped the amen. What is the reason for that?
Pio Nono
JMJ 4/3 - Fifth Saturday of Lent allis-challmers, I don't believe the "Amen" has dropped (a whole section is given it in part IV of the new catechism), it's just that some people have stopped saying it. This could be, perhaps, because a prayer follows it immediately, or something like that. But don't worry - feel free to say "Amen" with full vigour. Yours, Pio Nono
