[/quote] Unfortunately that has not been the case. Since Reagan the military has increasingly gotten bigger (besides a slight decrease during the Clinton years). Neither the Military or VA has seen significant increases in care as their roles have increased, in fact - many would argue it has gotten worse. I truly do hope things can get better, it is just the government (under both parties) has a very bad track record when it comes to running a business. N/A Gone Posted September 13, 2009 Share Posted September 13, 2009 I do not think a socialist system is what is needed. Rather, basic healthcare for people who cannot afford it. There will always be people who take advantage of charitable situations, but that does not mean we should not try. Why are we leaning on the goverment to do this?
