Homework....

Annoying. :(

My thoughts.

But then, I find it's better to do it than not do it...

I'm dreading my first few months of University homework. :P I have a feeling that it's going to be nigh overwhelming.

Just make sure to stay on top of it. I generally did homework for whatever classes I'd had that day during that evening. Of course, it also depends on the type of classes you're taking. Mine were primarily archaeology, history, literature, and language, so there was a lot of reading and a lot of papers and a lot of language study. But we always took one evening off to just have pizza and relax. Play video games. Oh, and a fun way to study is to write your notes on a deck of cards and play cards.

I'm having a hard time focusing on homework and managing my time for doing it. On friday afternoons my brain basically shuts off and focusing on school work is even harder. It's not that I'm a partier I just feel tired from the week and I'm still not used to doing homework yet. It's so early in the year still. There's one class that I like so far but dang we have to read and answer a lot of questions on our study guide every day. I hope that I can pass my physics class. I'm tired of dropping math and science classes that I'm failing and getting yelled at by my mom about it. It's supposed to be a class designed for people that are bad at math and science. That sure is me. I'm way to much of a humanities person. Then I have to suffer through another science class to completely fulfill those requirements. Why must colleges have all of these required classes? I've never known anyone to ever have benefited from being forced to take classes that they smell of elderberries at to fulfill requirements.

OMG, you did archaeology?? :o

My plan is to do homework and study each night for the two or three classes I had during the day, then ideally take a quick look at what I did in the previous classes for the next day. Hopefully I can make myself do it. We'll start to know the answer to that by early October.

Good luck! When I started University classes last year, I thought I would spend hefty time studying, but that never happened... I still did fine, but it's so hard to stay that focused!

I studied a lot my freshman year. By senior year I'd decided there were more important things. ;)

I know. :P One thing I am not is deluded. I had the same plans every year of high school.
People can change though. Hopefully I can do it this time. :) I truly am interested in all my classes except one (Calculus). Even Stats is something I find interesting.... at least to a certain degree. I know that will help. The question is how much.
