Healthcare Freedom Day: 8/21/2009

It's bizarre. I have eleven years of dealing with people who get free medication, including some serious psychotropic drugs. I've dealt with people too lazy to get their prescriptions filled, whilst they sit in front of large televisions playing cable. It seems if you can't get health care, you're either working and your insurance doesn't pay for it, or you're too lazy to claim the free stuff that's out there.

I just wanted to stop by and say that the health care bill killed my company. What I wrote would happen, is happening.

I worked at a health care insurance company ran by Catholics. We did not allow birth control or abortion to be funded by our insurance.

Investors backed out because of the healthcare bill being debated. That cost us 20 million. Then, once it was signed, another health insurance company that was going to rent our provider network backed out because they expect a $180,000,000.00 loss... so our company had to lay everyone off and put itself on the chopping block for sale.

I know have moved on to another company... but my whole point is the healthcare law that was signed has no goal of just healthcare for people, it has a goal of ending private healthcare and given more power to government.

Obama and his minions are evil.
