homeschoolmom
When we were in college, HSdad put an eggburger from the cafeteria into a glass jar and sealed it with wax so that we could watch it disintegrate. (We sort of had a collection of "food in jars.") After about a week or so, he decided that it needed more oxygen in order to really work (apparently, not much was happening...). So, he opened it. It cleared the whole wing. Men were running like crazy. It was horrible. (He and his friends kept that jar and the rest of the food collection for years, I might add.) He was a math major. He taught geometry.

homeschoolmom
That was the only anecdote I could think of linking eggs to geometry.
The Bus Station
I wasn't meaning to brag. I don't think I had a very good teacher. He made the class too easy... I'm sorry if what I said was rude, The Bus Station.
It was, but I forgive you

homeschoolmom
My teacher for my first semester of HS geometry was retiring at the end of the year. He no longer cared about math and so, I didn't either. Second semester, I had the baseball coach for Geometry and he was more concerned about getting rained out than proofs. He also faced the blackboard when he talked. It was not my favorite subject.

I'm a math major. I didn't know what to say sympathetically without sounding callous so I said something obscure that I was good at to go with Rachael's awesome post. That and I made some kick butt eggs for dinner last night and I wanted to share.
Unfortunately, no. I'm a clean freak so all the dishes generally get done right away, so there wasn't anything to stink.
