Maria_Faustina
I forgot! The Schoenstatt Sisters (technically not a religious order, but an institution, I believe...it's complicated). http://www.schsrsmary.org/index.html And who are those (Franciscan...ish, I believe) sisters that wear brown...and a blue scapular? And always carry a crucifix in their pockets?
We don't wear blue, but we do have a beautiful habit... Sisters of Charity of Our Lady, Mother of the Church http://www.sistersofcharity.com God bless you.
Your habit certainly is beautiful. (I definitely throw that in anytime I mention your order to someone. ). So glad to have you on here, Sister.
FSM Sister
Our sisters wear blue in honor of our Lady. Like the Schoenstat Sisters, we are technically a Private Association. The Sisters of the Eleventh Hour are also in that category. And you are correct, it IS complicated! (Canon law isn't exactly "light" reading!) We are doing everything we need to do in order to move forward in the canonical process - God willing, when we have a few more members. We accept vocations of all ages. Let's pray for one another! DiscerningSoul
http://www.crossfire.org/daughtersofmary/ I went to school with them, they no longer have the school but I do get to see them if I goto 6:30 Mass. I had my very 1st discentment retreat with them, oh boy I was a talker back then and SIster Jennifer(Now Mother Mary Jennifer!) told me it was quite time. Whoops! I thought it was like a sleepover and you got to see the life of the sisters. Well I have come a very long way since that 1st encounter.
Recordare Virgo
Thank you so much for your help, InHisLove. I followed your instructions, and now I have an avatar. I'm extremely ditzy with computers. Hopefully, with several years of intense training, I might be able to figure out how to download a religious image. FutureSister2009
I love to learn about all of these Orders! I like to see the many colors of habits too. But I really like blue ones because my devotion to Our Lady is indescribable!
