But the government knows best. I mean Obama says we are no longer a Christain nation, don't you want him to run your health care? Why bother going to school, except to learn the "states" ways? Mr. Government, Sir, would take care of all our needs.

Well I don't agree with making private insurance illegal. As I've said before, I think it's good that both exist here, as it serves to keep the NHS competitive, and I imagine it also works to keep the costs down for the private insurance if they have to compete with the NHS, though I can't be certain of that since I've never looked into it.

The government dominates in the parcel delivery field-- yet FedEx and UPS exist.
The government dominates in the education field-- yet private, parocial and homeschools exist.

I don't understand why health care has to be 100% government.

Correct me if I am wrong, but aren't homeschoolers under attack in quite a few places? It seems to me that the attacks are coming from the teachers unions and school boards which I read as government.

That's how it's supposed to be, anyway. I am quite suspicious of anything from WND. Obama has said many times that his plan is to create governmental competition to the private companies in order to drive down costs. If private is too expensive, there is a public plan to opt into. But either way, you are free to choose.
