:lol_roll: that is so shocking. i would have expected her reaction to be "heaven for sure" and then call the other person gay for asking.
Most of my family is CofE. The anglo-Catholic parish in town is amazing. I am SO jealous.
You're jealous? I grew up low Anglican. *sigh* I didn't find out about high anglicanism till after I converted and became serious about my faith.
As many of you know, I'm an American living in England. I see so many gorgeous churches here. I know it comes across as snobby but I often find myself thinking "What a beautiful church. Shame it's Protestant" :smokey:
I think the same thing when i see pics like St David's Cathedral. I think more along the lines... "that used to be Catholic *sigh*"

Since the Anglican communion is breaking up over homosexuality with U.S. and Sweden supporting and England against, perhaps we can start to get the English back.

The Church of England believes homosexual relations are immoral?

The CofE hierarchy is supportive of homosexuality. In fact many anglo-Catholic priests in the UK are gay.

I think it's just a few individual parishes that are conservative.

Ironically those with a High Church (nearly Catholic) liturgy are inclusive. The low Church, evangelical wing of the Anglican Communion are generally against homosexuality.
