White Knight
Logically its never acceptable in any circumstances, even if your poor and you cannot make money any other way, better to be poor and keep self respect and dignity of that person, rather than to sell out and get cash for using your body as a tool for self gratifcation, and end up killing yourself from STD's and other problems as well. Rather its Females or Males, nethier is more right or wrong , both are equally wrong, non more so than the other, both are mortal sins. Prositution is wrong, even for the same sex relations too. Now that may sound harsh all they way, but this battlefield is harsh especially in this area, you have to fight fire with water., Lust with Chasity and Abstinence and self respect forward yourself with dignity toward others. and yourself as well. There are no acceptions to Prositution. For those who are in this life style though, it is up to good moral people "not just Catholics" but all people of all religions, to live a life of discpline, self respect, and charity, and to present it to the people who are in this area, to hopefully inspire them to change and to leave the immoral lifestyle. All we can do is live a inspiring life toward others, to help pull us all through our own weaknesses. thessalonian
"Again, it didn't work out too well for the unborn in this country did it?" So now what are you saying? The rights of the unborn should not be protected? That this country went awry on the matter is of no consequence as to whether their should or shouldn't be a law. This thread isn't about what type of government we should or shouldn't have. We have what we've got and according to the Catechism it is incumbent upon a right thinking governement to obey natural law and do their best to put laws in place that do not violate it. That is what the Catechism says. Are you wiser than the Church?

Are you wiser than the Church?
The rights of the unborn are not currently protected, in case you didn't notice. And I don't disagree with the CCC. I simply disagree with your interpretation of it.
