I'm not sure where one gets a Bible in Japanese. If you did have one, though, you could find the Japanese version of the name [i]Joseph[/i] in Matthew 1:19.

i know where to get one though it would not be a Catholic Bible so I say don't bother.

Inflection is the changing of the forms of words.

Syntax is the order in which words are placed in a sentence.

Latin places a greater emphasis on inflection than on syntax.

English places a greater emphasis on syntax than on inflection.

In am wondering which plays a greater role in Japanese.

oh. I tried looking it up in webster.

I would compare it to be closer to Latin, Again I barely got into sentance structures. So, it reminds me of Latin more. Hope that helps.
