QuoteMan
Your thoughts? Some animal-lovers might believe that animals DO go to Heaven; whereas others believe that animals don't have human souls; thus, they can't go to heaven... dominicansoul
i think I'll stick to the Baltimore Catechism on this one. Only those of us who were created in the image and likeness of God, who have immortal souls have a place for us in Heaven or sadly, in Hell... (animals don't go to hell, either...) I'm for scholasticism-scholasticism: everything the Scholastics said was true, and what we need to do is make incredibly awkward logical deductions so that our experiences fit into it. In any case, animals go to Heaven. John says that in the New Jerusalem the Lamb is the Light. QED.

brokensparrow
I agree with the article that animals don't have immortal souls and therefore do not go to heaven, however I think it would be unfair to put a limit on God by saying yes or no for sure. After all, God can do what he wants to right?
