Pio Nono
JMJ 3/29 - Fifth Monday of Lent ThomasPeter, I don't see your question as attacking the Church; it's actually a wonderful question. We call the Church the "spotless Bride of Christ" because her sins have been washed away "by the Blood of the Lamb." She herself is holy through Christ's Blood. Though sometimes her members may not be as holy as they're called to be, we still know that the Holy Spirit's a'drivin' this train. If He's in charge, then His Bride can't be led into something other than Himself. I hope this helps. Yours, Pio Nono
