My thesis work is REALLY boring (well, unless you're into it ) and is just about a single layer of bubbles in two different sizes that float on a soap solution. But I've done physics shows with all kinds of crazy stuff, including making fizzy strawberries with dry ice
Resurrexi
I have no idea what that means :/
"For there are eunuchs, who were born so from their mother's womb: and there are eunuchs, who were made so by men: and there are eunuchs, who have made themselves eunuchs for the kingdom of heaven. He that can take, let him take it." (Matthew 19:12) He speaks of three kinds of eunuchs, of whom two are carnal, and one spiritual. One, those who are so born of their mother's womb; another, those whom enemies or courtly luxury has made so; a third, those who have made themselves so for the kingdom of heaven, and who he might have been men, but become eunuchs for Christ. To them the reward is promised, for to the others whose continence was involuntary, nothing is due. VeniteAdoremus
When I was just accepted I changed my Facebook status to "Is going to pull a perpetual Mt19:12 (option 3)." And I want a t-shirt that says "blonde celibates do have more fun." Ora, if you turn out to have a vocation to the priesthood, you should become our chaplain the pay is nil but the food is great!

Then I realized that it's not really what I want. I was just making it some kind of substitute because of the Vaticans decree on celibate homosexuals being banned from seminaries. And I don't really think that's what a vocation is.....a substitute or backup. No, I'm at peace with the way things are now. I don't feel like a hypocrite by giving lip service to the Church, I have adoration, the rosary and Mass with spiritual communion AND in the end I have confidence that God wont send me to Hell for being true to the way he made me. So you know, whatever.
OraProMe
I just find it interesting that you would be a good candidate for the priesthood, despite your orientation. However, many people ruined it for the rest, even if you were to promise celibacy, those that have not lived it have ruined it for people like you. Have you ever heard of Henri Nouwen? He was a priest and was a homosexual who struggled with it all his life. This is a good synopsis of a biography of his life http://jmm.aaa.net.au/articles/4673.htm
Yes. It doesn't seem like the best logic to me though. You know? A handful of homosexuals screw up so lets ban them all. I read an interview that Socrates posted from Zenit about a homosexual not being able to connect with men (my two best friends are heterosexual males) or being paternal enough for the priesthood. That's what I meant by "every part of my being protests" when I read some of this stuff. It's just so wrong and off base it's almost laughable. It's sad that stuff gets mixed in with it really, the procreative nature of sex argument is actually far more convincing than some of the stuff I've found in Catholic periodicals and on EWTN, Catholic Answers etcetera. Ohhhhh, I'll go have a look at that link now. Edited June 29, 2009 by OraProMe

Jews, Italians or Irish would make nice scapegoats. Seeing as I've got a Jewish uncle who was a hall of fame wrestler and could bend my like a paper doll and I'd someday like to date an Italian woman I think I'll go with the Irish. The Irish are responsible for homosexuality!
