The Jesuit Oath....

I was confronted with the "Bogus Oath" earlier. I proved it bogus, but then was asked about the real one. Is there any way to get it? I heard it's the same, or pretty close, to the KoC oath, but I can't find that either. Is it even public knowledge??? Help......

Secret oaths, of ANY kind, are just an extension of one of the first heresies. Gnosticsm, or secret KNOWLEGE .. .

Even the Catholic church understands this, for this is the VERY THING that traditionally the Catholic Church taught was wrong about Masonry.

If such oaths are wrong for Masons, and secret oaths themselves are wrong [not statements of faith, but OATHS, which Jesus said not to take] then why are ANY oaths done in secret by Jesuits anything but a contradiction of the Catholic Church's understanding of these when done by OTHERS?

This is the actual oath:

[i]I (name), make profession, and I promise to Almighty God, in the presence of his Virgin Mother, the whole heavenly court, and all those here present, and to you, Reverend Father (name), superior general of the Society of Jesus and the one holding the place of God, and to your successors (or, to you, Reverend Father [name], representing the superior general of the Society of Jesus and his successors and holding the place of God), perpetual poverty, chastity, and obedience; and, in conformity with it, special care for the instruction of children, according to the manner of living contained in the apostolic letters of the Society of Jesus and in its Constitutions. I further promise a special obedience to the sovereign pontiff in regard to the missions, according to the same apostolic letters and the Constitutions. I might add, while its in the link, that this is found in the Constitutions of the Society of Jesus, which was written by Ignatius Loyola himself. Hardly secret. Hardly a modern innovation.
