dominicansoul
is there a woman dressed like a priest? and that bread.... that's the kind that is sometimes used in a parish close to my home! Is that the right kind of bread for the Eucharist??? What the hey is going on??
OraProMe
The chalice and paten also violate the GIRM. Church law says that anything used to hold the body and blood of Our Lord must be made from precious metal, not wood or stone. And what the heck is up with that "monstrance"? And the vestements. And the women dressed in clerical garb. And the altar. Just EVERYTHING is wrong with this diocese. I wish Fr. Wagner had enough courage to accept his episcopal appointment ):
dominicansoul
I will never understand why liberal dissenting Catholics insist on "playing" Catholic?? If you dont' like it, get out!

Paladin D
The woman dressed as a clergyman reminds of our diocese. There is a woman who follows the bishop around to guide him on what he's suppost to be doing, mainly when it comes to church dedications and such. She's dressed as though she were a deacon or priest.
As in a) clericals (dog collar) b) cassock and surplice c) tunic/dalmatic/chausuble? Option a) is really weird, but I'm not sure about its canonical status. Option b) is allowed, and option c) is completely illegal.
I am missing the woman dressed as clergy. Marie-Therese
That ain't the Eucharist, that's a pita!
I was thinking the SAME thing. It's a pita held up in a clapper! The only thing this has to do with a monstrance is that this parody of exposition could be called by a name that is close to monstrance. Good grief. Since when did the Mass become a falafel bar? Or when did someone presume to think Jesus comes in a gyro? It's the Catholic Church, people!!
