jeffpugh
Father, Ditto prayers. Glad you reached out...couldn't help recalling a sermon my daughter told me about recently, that a certin soul asked his angel guardian to make him bite his tongue if he ever veered into saying anything uncharitable about someone... ...please consider taking acidopholus during these rounds of anti-biotics so that the "good" bacteria are re-introduced (thinking recovery/longer term). I'm not sure the two should be taken together in your situation, the pharmacist would know - at least mine would, he's worth 4 docs put together!
I would say acidopholus after the antibiotics are done. Taking them now may be a waste cause antiboitics kill all. Lord bless you father, I'll pray for your recovery. desertwoman
No more DDR or Wii Fit Father. Stick to Rock Band, God of War, and Fallout after this incident for a couple more weeks. Just kidding. Praying for you my friend.

Theologian in Training
While it may have been the bite, they also discovered I have a sinus infection. I have to be aware of every infection in my body. Anyway, tomorrow they put a pick line in, which is a 4 week IV (the one's Lyme patient's wear) and I get an injection every 4 hours. If all is well, they may release me tomorrow. thank you for the continued prayers God bless Fr. Brian

Theologian in Training
I'm out of the hospital with a picc line. Getting up every 4 hrs to adminster the IV, though, is quite tiring. Thank God this is the last night, since my nurse requested a different way of doing this. Hopefully, it allows me to sleep longer than 4 hr intervals. Thank you all for your prayers. God bless Fr. CatherineM
I thought priests were used to having their sleep interrupted.

Now you just have to ask yourself why you didn't bite your tongue during lent! Well there's always next year!
Theologian in Training
Well, my nurse got my medicine changed and the way it is administered, so instead of every 4 hrs., I am on a 24 hr pump. That means that I change it every 24 hrs rather than every 4 hrs. I could not do it anymore. Realistically, when all was said and done, I was only getting 3 hrs of sleep, given all the prep work and the rest, so this way works MUCH better. Besides, I have not had an uninterrupted night of sleep since before I entered the hospital. Thanks again to all for the prayers. God bless Fr.
