jeffpugh
Who all has played any of the Half-Lifes? Great series. I've noticed quite a few mods on Steam, which is nice to see. Anyone play any of those? Also, anyone play any of the other Orange Box games? It gets boring playing with just random strangers. It would be nice to know that some are Catholic, so we could team up Thoughts?
SaintOlaf
If I hunt around enough I'm sure I could find my CD Key's.... I still believe that Half Life (the original game) was the best PC Game ever produced it was so complete, and on top of that you had the mod community coming out with stuff like Counter Strike and Team Fortress for starters. I'll let you know if I find my stuff, I'd love to get back into it a bit
Paladin D
I'm a huge Half-Life fan! Played the following: - Half Life - Half Life: Opposing Force (play as a Marine) - Half Life: Blue Shift (play as a security guard) - Half Life 2 - Half Life 2: Episode 1 - Half Life 2: Episode 2 - Half Life 2: Lost Coast - Half Life 2: Deathmatch - Team Fortress Classic - Team Fortress 2 - Day of Defeat (just the original, not the Source version yet) - Counter-Strike - Counter-Strike: Source - Portal ... and a free mod in which I've been playing a lot lately: - Zombie Panic! ... do a search on Steam for it, highly recommend it. jeffpugh
There's a new zombie mod out called Zombie Master. It looks pretty good. I just got a mod today called Source Forts. Looks sorta neat. PM me if you want my steam name. PS, I really wanna try blue shift... play as Barney. Looks sorta entertaining.
Arpy
The only Valve game I've played is Portal, but I also play Gang Garrison 2, a 2D demake of TF2.

Arpy
Well, I did instigate its creation. Thanks.
nleyetn
I've played the whole Half-Life series and most Valve games. Half-Life 2 remains one of my favorite gaming experiences. I play DOD:S, CS:S and TF2 now and then, but I guess I don't get on as much as I used to.
QuoteMan
Wel, I haven't played any of the Half Life series yet. As it turns out, we (my brothers and I) are looking to find The Orange Box.

Zombie Panic! is more challenging since you fight against individual zombie players (who come from dead human players). I already sent you a PM. It's short, but fun though. Get to see the behind-the-scenes of what the security guards were doing.

Have you seen Freeman's Mind (by Machinima) on Youtube? Funny stuff! Some language in it, but it's excellent. points out a lot of the sorta obvious anomalies in the first Half-Life that you sorta take for granted... like the use of the rooms or how some glass isn't breakable... G-Man... lawl.
Nihil Obstat
I want to play Portal. I'm a fan already, but I need to rent it or buy it somehow.

They're big games though. Over 2 DVDs. A few gigabytes, then a large update. Heh, when I came home, I installed the games on an other computer and used up most of the bandwidth on cable "light", so we had to upgrade the service so we wouldn't be overcharged for bandwidth use
