Gemma
Catholic Vocations Asia: http://groups.yahoo.com/group/catholic_vocations_asia/ Catholic Vocations Canada: http://groups.yahoo.com/group/catholic_vocations_canada/ I've been tempted to start one for the UK and possibly Europe. If there is any interest (two or more others than myself) we can do so. Blessings, Gemma

Gemma
C'mon folks, I need more than one. You know you want to. The main focus of the groups--aside from being region-specific--is to note the demographics; strengths/weaknesses; and how vocations can be increased. For instance--the Philippines has an incredible number of religious institutes, but they also have problems with communications. All those institutes don't have websites. In Canada, they have a dearth of orthodox communities, but tons of land (pun not intended). Our talks on the groups will lead to region-specific websites. VeniteAdoremus
Since I am pretty much taken, I'm not joining discerners' groups anymore, but I wish you all the luck
Hilde
Are there really that few European discerners here?

Phatmass as a whole is quite North American, it isn't just Vocation Station.
Hilde
Yes, but there's got to be more than two?I thought there were some more people from the UK here. But yes, I know the majority of people here are from North America. Nevertheless, it would be great to have people from all different stages in discernment in such a group. And perhaps we can revive some general discussions here, or start new ones.
VeniteAdoremus
Personally, I prefer a forum-style discussion board to Yahoo groups, because fora are more open. Which is another reason why I will not join the group. But I don't mind upping the European presence here a bit

kavalamyself
I prefer the forum type group as well, it helps to get many opinions and keep things safe.
