Nihil Obstat
Nihil Obstat. How do you pronounce Nihil? I just realized I've never heard it used in real life. I am ashamed.

princessgianna
Ni (as in Nick) hil (as hill). Not sure if that is correct but for a name it sounds correct! so... EDIT: for Obstat- Ob(obstacle)sti (stick)nt (n and t) Again that is most likely wrong but it sounds like a good middle or last name. Nihil Obstat
When I first saw it I assumed it was Nile, as in the river. I also know though, that generally in Latin words you pronounce all the letters, which would make it Ni hill.
