My next Kurosawa is going to be [i]Ikuru[/i] or maybe I'll try [i]Ran[/i]. My library has probably a hundred of the criterion collection DVDs. Also in the same line is 'I'll m'appel personne' aka; 'They call me Nobody'. Its the story of a cowboy that sekks out the fastest gunner in the west who wants to reitre nad the guy (who is nameless) keeps telling the fastest gunenr that if he quits, 'Nobody' will take his palce. At the end, they fake a gun fight, the champion is 'killed' although only seemingly so 'cause he's off to a new retired life, and 'Nobody' takes over.
