Forgive me for sounding judgmental, but this post was a COMPLETE ACCIDENT. I accidently posted the post about praying a Novena for the Macfarlanes twice, so I edited the second, calling it the accidental post.

What irks me about this post's activity is that it has received THREE TIMES AS MUCH RESPONSE as my post about the Novena. How serious are we as Catholics on this message board? Can any of you reply to my message about praying a 9 day Novena for two well-known, devout, Catholic, founders of an apostolate who are in divorce precedings? That's what this "community" should be about.

Where are our priorities? Please read the post about the Novena and respond. Let this post go where it should...NO WHERE.

please don't be judgemental.

most of the novena's I pray that many have intentions, I don't even reply to and still pray. (Consider the Prayer Room) sorry if you got offended but don't judge a poster by some useless posts or lack of posting. Have faith, I'm sure many pray and don't post. If I know the phamily, which I do, I can assure you there will be praying, and we won't even know all the participants.

i hardly ever respond to "post and let us know" , call it reverse pschyology or something, but usually i wouldn't have.....but that doesn't mean I'm not praying.

have some faith trying2bfaithful! :wub: and I didn't even want to post now, cause I'm "supposed" to be studing.....

I'm supposed to be studying....but I have something else on my mind.

I hate to judge, but sometimes a person needs to place value judgments on things. For example, which post is more important- one that is designed to try and save a marriage, or one that is about nothing? I think we can all make a judgment there.

My point is simply that I really haven't gotten any response, which is very disheartening. Based on the attitudes of everyone on here, it surprises me, really.

Maybe I'll give you some insight into why I'm doing this. I went to confession on Saturday night. My penance was to do something nice for someone. I struggled to come up with something, but this is it. I really want this to happen. I know that our prayers will be answered, as long as we PRAY PRAY PRAY.

Why the group Novena? Think of the fable of the bundle of sticks. One solitary stick is easy to break. When several are held together, however, they are unbreakable. LET'S ALL PRAY TOGETHER! For the sake of the family AND the [i]Phamily[/i].
