Tab'le De'Bah-Rye
When i ahve ever mentioned neither being yes yes yes or no no no does not mean that you make sin little and the consequences of it's severity in that we still need to say no to sin even though where not entitled to judgement..and lso to be yes to virtue and Good and to not to be damning especailly knowing the word of GOD and not to blame tobacco smokers for issues and diseases that are increased by sin by or against a person (and damning judgement that can cause excessive worrying about past or future) tobacco is the least of our worries, mind altering drug and alcohol abuse and promiscurity and other objects of sensuality(pornography or that a so called better sex life will increase relationship success)(when truely the love and respect for the partners interlect, emotions and soul(hopes and dreams,is what will allow for better relations in love and faithfulness) should be our priorities to be against as a church... and something like somone whom smokes tobacco or making jokes is less of an issue to protect our flock against.unless the joke is putting down the context of the gospel and truth and love. just an example of prioritising faith matters. And being a stronger flock as parishes and not allowing people to feel judged or left out over simple matters and being attacked by wolves or buzzards. Marie-Therese
To the poster... I am assuming you are not a native English speaker. Is your argument supposed to refer to Catholics making fun of smoking or blaming smokers for something? And what does Babylon and Persia have to do with the topic? I am seriously trying to understand and not assume that this is, as Saint Therese noted, potentially a joke. If clarity in English is the issue, I'll work with you. If this is a joke...with all charity, get lost.
