rose wrought of iron
I saw those on the playbill and thought "sweet, I've got to watch those now.... " Oh man it was sooooo awesome!!! And when he started singing "If I Were A Rich Man" I kept looking over at my grandpa to see if he were up and dancing and singing too. My grandpa's been doing that ever since I can remember. One of my favorite memories. And, I must confess, I caught myself softly singing more than once....
CatherineM
We actually sang "Sabbath Prayer" in church once. Don't know if it was appropriate, but had a great alto line, so I didn't complain too much.
rose wrought of iron
Oh man that sounds amazing. They sang "Sunrise, Sunset" for my mom and dad's wedding. It's definitely on my list too.
eagle_eye222001
Fiddler on the Roof has some good catchy songs in it. My only complaint about the play was the lack of a good fight scene.....they almost have on but it doesn't last. I must be a guy or something. ---------------- Now playing: Don McLean - American Pie via FoxyTunes
I have cause to doubt and pour derision on the claims to masculinity of such guys. I had final, clinching proof that the AMPAS was run by a bunch of chicks when Chariots of Fire beat Raiders of the Lost Ark for best picture in 1981. Things didn't seem to turn around for guy movies until the '90's, when The Silence of the Lambs, Unforgiven, Schindler's List and Braveheart all won Best Picture for their years. I challenge you to name a guy movie that can be readily recognized as such that doesn't have a good fight scene in it.

There are only two women in the whole thing, the wife and the girlfriend of the reporter covering the conclave to elect the next Pope.
