The Evil One is a sly dude Cal, and when he sees young people like you wanting to defend the faith, expecially at your age, he wants to break you down. God certainly has an annointing on your life. You strike me as a kid who has been given a calling by God. I urge everyone on this site to keep Cal in prayer.
I guess because of my ignorance I do not understand the motives but, It is De-humanizing and makes Humans look like mindless animals and makes us look Soulless and nothing special. I understand the pretty major stuff after tons of lectures from my priest and parents about the sexual sins so I might not commit them. Yes this is when the temptations to sexual sins start, personally I think I am doing good so far , I'm not even interested in girls (in general can't tell you anymore )! (If you deal with it right, which you may very well not. Most of us don't.) I remember back when I was your age...... haha, well I actually do. In my grade five or six class I had my first crush on a girl. Edited May 25, 2009 by Nihil Obstat

Well on and off I had a crush on this girl from grade five until grade ten. That went quite badly, but I learned a lot about myself and about relationships, so it was a good thing in the end. At the time, it was awful, but that was only temporary......
Church Punk
Lust is a sin/ temptation is best dealt with by running, not fighting. Id say the minute you try to fight you already begin to be drawn into sin. In particular I have found it useful to focus on the passion of Christ while under lustful temptations and thoughts, and use mortification to direct your thoughts on what is holy. For instance, I find that I am able to resist easier if I have been fasting or have not eaten in a little bit. Or if I offer up any type of suffering I may endure during the day. Sometimes I will offer a workout or run up as a form of mortification to keep the body in check. It takes training. LOTS of training. I like to think of it almost like a spiritual version of Navy SEAL training to over come lustfulness. hahahha

I'm in 7th grade right now so 7 years is a pretty long time, Just be careful because she might back stab you PS: God obviously had an effect on this thread because instead of sexual sins we are talking about innocent love, Innocence > Sin

Don't be shocked if you're wrong. Not to rain on your parade or anything. I had definitely felt the same way. Vincent Vega
Welcome to Phatmass! For your own sake, as other have advised, do not preoccupy yourself with these things - in my opinion, the less you know of these things, the better. Myself, like many, many others, found out about these sort of things at your age, and did not have the maturity or presence of mind to avoid them, and they've affected us for the worse. Moreover, once you get into these types of things, it's verrrrry hard to quit, and it's terrible for your well being and your relationship with God. For your own sake, don't devote much time to these sorts of things - this energy could certainly be used more effectively for good. I'll be praying for you to retain your innocence for as long as possible. Pax Christi, Mitch
