Me gusta... I wonder what the turnout was like? I've heard of several dioceses publicly promoting Confession on specific days during Lent. Gotta get on the offensive :)

I was waiting for the line "and if you confess in the next 20 minutes, because we can't be here all day...."

I read an article about it that someone sent my mom. Apparently, it worked really well.

That video trivialized the Holy Sacrament of Confession and was thoroughly degrading. I understand the intent behind it, but it missed the mark. Badly.

It's not an issue of the "fruits" that came of it, either. The problem lay in the delivery with its utterly poor characterization of the Sacrament.

How was it a poor characterization of the sacrament? I probably know what you're getting at and, if so, I'd agree, but I want to hear your reasoning first. :)

I have no idea what you guys are talking about but our parish offered it every Sunday after All masses so there was no excuse for not going. Besides us regulars of course!

I was talking to a friend of mine (who's about to be ordained a priest) and he said he liked the idea because the message was delivered to people where they were.

I wish my parish did that.
