I used to listen to them but their pretty anti-Palestinian and into the whole "Jews are God's chosen people" sort of "end times" prophesy, which kinda rubbed me the wrong way.

yeah, the whole "we're Jewish and we're rightfully bombing Palestinian civilians" or the "we're Palestinian teenagers and we can only counter these bombs with rocks" type of rap music never really appealed to me.

I've known these guys for sometime now, done a few shows together. Good people. Interesting angle, for sure.

Interesting... for the sake of peace, that's a good choice of words.

Manchild is right, everyone's entitled to expressing his/her own beliefs. However, I will rarely support a rapper who has a specific political agenda (unless he's amazing). That's why even good lyricists like Immortal Technique will rarely be found on my playlist.

I'm confused, I've never heard them bash Palestinians, they are messianic jews though, so its normal they would rap about Israel.

Wow... I didn't realize you were the anti-political rap. I just figured you had your own politial agenda like everyone else.

Their support the ethnic cleansing of Palestine and everything that goes with it. Read their mission statements, listen to all their songs and it becomes very clear, which is contrary to Orthodox/Roman Catholic beliefs, but also for me, I have friends/family in Palestine that are Palestinians so its more personal.

You're right, it's kind of hypocritical for me to say that...Sometimes it just feels more like I'm listening to propaganda than someone's artistic interpretation of a situation. Btw, I commented before listening, these guys are pretty good. I didn't hear much political talk in their music, I guess you'd have to piece it together.

I'm really intrigued, cause I just don't see it. Could you show me something where they say this.

1.) I've spoken to them personally and seen them perform live, where it was clear.

2.) Just listen to their past music and read their mission statements at their website.

3.) What do you think Messianic Jews believe? Study their beliefs.

Well, about Jews being the Chosen of God, there is some truth to that. The Church teaches and the Bible prophesies that in order for Adonai Yeshua Hamashiach Ben Elohi to return, the Jews have to acknowledge Him as Mashiach (Messiah). But if they are anti-Palestinian, that saddens me and we should pray for them because a lot of their music has brought me closer to Christ and I'm Catholic lol.

Actually the Hebrews were...but the Church doesn't believe that now. The Church teaches that the old covenant and law are obsolete as Jesus fulfilled them. It also teaches that God's chosen people are those that accept Jesus Christ and therefore, as the Bible says, share in that which was promised to the Hebrews of the Old Covenant.

Hezakim believes that the Jews are God's chosen people and that they shall be restored, according to the Old Covenant, to the land of canan of the old testament. They also believe that the modern day Isreal and the Zionist movement is God's will, thus condemning the Palestinians that live in that land and promoting the Zionist Propaganda.
