dominicansoul
For the repose of the soul of my brother John, his birthday is the 26th, and he would have been 45 but never made it outta his 20's... For my own vocation, which has seen so much turmoil and hit so many walls... For my elderly Dad, For my family, For my best friend Cynthia and her family and all the turmoil she's going through, and for her vocation as well... For the repose of the soul of my precious Mom, For the Sisters of Mary as they begin to establish a new community in Texas, For Cynthia's daughter to receive the funding she needs to attend Catholic highschool For my brother Antony who suffers from a very rare condition Thanks! kavalamyself
I am so happy for you! They are a wonderful and known as the most joyful of the 1st federation monasteries. So others will know, all Visitation Monasteries off retreats within the enclosure for women and each monastery allows diffierent access to community areas. although all will eat with the community and welcome to attend all the liturgies. A woman does not need to be discerning religious life to make a private retreat. Some Visitations will allow a woman to come for a vocation retreat on a first visit - when a woman would follow the novitiate day - but some monasteries require either a first retreat as a private retreat or the first few days of a vocation retreat as a private retreat. It is a very lovely part of their charism. God's Blessings!
I have a question, Grace as I am looking into religious life myself and have had a few setbacks. What does it mean when you say they are known as the most joyful? Is that your personal experience or have they done something that makes them stand out? Also, what are the different federations?
