kafka
Habakkuk was a prophet of God before the coming of Jesus Christ. What he recorded was an inspired and inerrant reflection of what God revealed to him in his own personal history and at the same time his own personal being. His own personal history shaped the text of his book, yet when he wrote in his own personal history, his words were shaped by a mysterious charisma of God, in a mode of being and a certain purity deep within him, which transcends space/time and which God communicated to him. And in this mode he did not lose his own humanity, and his capacity to reason and to freely write. My commentary presuposses this. My commentary on the book of Habakkuk is a union of Catholic thought about the End Times as well as all I have learned in the mode of accepting the Faith. And this book of Sacred Scriptute is much more than I could possibly comment on, and I will leave that open for you.
