I sometimes catch Life on the Rock. My cable provider doesn't air it when it's on at 8. (They show something from the Boston Catholic channel which is confusing because I live in Youngstown... :scratchhead: )

Anyway, other than that I watch Fr. Corapi and the daily Mass (at midnight) every now and then.

My first EWTN experience was the Divine Mercy Chaplet in song. I absolutely love it!

For those who don't have the actual channel, you can watch it online!

Blew. My. Mind.

I must try this soon.

I hope it's not one of those things where only US residents can actually watch it... :(

OMGosh NO!!!

Go to EWTN.com. Then "television" at the top left brings down a menu. You pick "Live TV" and then your player of choice.

I love EWTN Live and Threshold of Hope. He is awesome.

We've been down there a couple times and we always go to Mass at the chapel. Every time we go he is the celebrant.

I'm seriously thinking of going down there in the next couple weeks to see ewtn live. Wanda Gawronska (niece of Bl. Pier Giorgio Frassati) and Christine Wohar (FrassatiUSA) are going to be on. It would be really great to meet them both.

It's funny...I used to get EWTN when I lived in north metro Atlanta...now I moved back to Alabama and live about an hour and a half from Hanceville (where the shrine and network are) and I no longer get it. :( Before I entered the church EWTN's programming was amazing. I was literally an addict. My first experience of a mass was on EWTN.

Totus...when are you planning to come down? A girlfriend of mine and I are trying to plan a day trip down to the shrine, maybe we could meet each other. PM me if you are interested and maybe we can coordinate a trip. :)

Fr. Corapi is my hero. I also love Frs. Pacwa and Groschel. Fr. Pacwa is an amazingly learned man. I love watching the stories of the saints...I miss having EWTN available at midnight. :(

For books and materials, I recommend their gift shop, it's pretty well stocked. I order from it occasionally.

that would be awesome!!!

i'm still bouncing the idea around in my head. I want so bad to go, but I am thinking I may need to use the money for the trip on something else. As soon as I get it finalized (hopefully i the next week) I'll let you know!

It would be so fun to meet up.

I watch EWTN for the Latin Masses (the few that they televised), Fr. Corapi, and Pope Benedict stuff (masses, visits to wherever, etc).

Oh and there's also Truth in the Heart for children that the Dominican Sisters of Mary Mother of the Eucharist host on EWTN.
