Guest
I like Fr. Pacwa's shows.
Ya that dude is dope. When I watch the mass I always see those 2 black ladies at mass. Their defitenly devout. I also love Journey Home with Marcus (forget his last name). That has to be one of my favorite television shows period. They talk about really tough questions with the people who have come home. They dont shy away from anything and I think that's good. I also like web of faith because again they take really tough questions and give good answers. I would love to see some type of music show on ewtn. That would be cool if phatmass could break in and get a slot on there at some point. Oh and crossing the goal is good. Guest KevinSymonds
I live about 30 minutes away from the Shrine. Great place to go and pray.

prose
I had EWTN for a while, but it bored me to tears... So I figured I would save my 6 bucks a month.
HisChildForever
What's Web of Faith?
I had EWTN for a while, but it bored me to tears... So I figured I would save my 6 bucks a month.
I have to say that the channel as a whole can come off as boring - it seems like talk show after talk show. (And let's face it, while I like watching the daily Mass, the homily can run over 20 minutes...and when you're not there in person it's hard to stay focused.) I think the trick is picking out which of the shows interest you and just watching them, rather than sitting down in front of the TV and just randomly flipping on the channel to watch. It's a hour long show with 2 priest, an older one and a younger one. They take questions off the internet that people write in and ask. There usually pretty good questions with pretty good answers. lol

CatherineM
I would also occasionally watch Abundant Life, and that show with the two women, one of whom was a Jewish convert. Can't remember the name now.
Saint Therese
Of course the premier show on EWTN is Mother Angelica live. I also really enjoy the Daily Mass, and Benediction. Sunday Night Live with Fr. Groeshel is really great. EWTN also airs some awesome movies like Saint Teresa of the Andes, my alltime favorite. Parable is really awesome too, especially for younger viewers. The Bus Station
I have Mother Angelica set to record every Tuesday night Christ in the City is another great show though I don't think many people know about it (Tuesdays 11PM (I think that's why)). picchick
You should make a trip there if you can. My family made a trip out there. The convent chapel is absolutely beautiful. I use to watch Mother Angelica live when Mother Angelica was the one hosting it. I thought she was hilarious and very interesting. I also watched the Mass. Once in a while we will as a family say the rosary with the nuns.

AbsconditaInDeo
I first got into EWTN last summer. I sort of made it a tradition to watch the daily Mass repeat at midnight. (The daily Mass is first aired at 8am, and then repeated at noon, 7pm, and midnight.) So now I have come to associate EWTN with a quiet house, an open window, and warm to hot summer air. It's pretty awesome though, because after a couple of evenings I began to recognize certain parishioners. They are all very devout when they approach the Eucharist, which is something I definitely admire. Does anyone else watch this Mass? And are there other programs on EWTN anyone can suggest?
I really like watching the Mass on EWTN as well. I also like to watch the movies they sometimes have on, usually on Saturday nights, and I also really like the show Super Saints and also the rosary with Mother Angelica and her nuns at the monastery is just beautiful
