I used to watch Life on the Rock and I'm curious which one left.

I remember when the topic at one point on the show was prisons(I don't know why exactly they were talking about this but they where) and he kind of made an off-hand remark how this place(EWTN) sometimes feels like a prison. I remember doing a double-take when he said that. He said it laughing and in a joking kind of way but it got me thinking whether or not he was struggling with something. I'll pray for him
Guest KevinSymonds
My earlier remark was based in a personal belief of mine that we are going to see a lot more scandals in the future with priests and/or bishops many "conservatives" hold in high regard. I believe very strongly that Catholics have fallen for a deadly mistake--charismatic priests. I.e., priests with "charisma" and that somehow if you do not have this "charisma", you are a bad priest or will not make a good priest. A good priest is someone who truly loves God and does what he is supposed to do (lead his flock to God). That is going to be hard at times and I have found that there are guys who earnestly strive for this in accordance with what the Tradition and Scripture teaches, but because these people lack "charisma" or are not "happy-peppy-people" at 5:00 a.m., they are frowned upon. A good priest is someone who teaches you correctly the path to heaven and hammers you in your conscience, no matter how much you rebel against it. Blargh, long story and I will not get on a soapbox. Just mark my words and remember, that it is about the faith, not men who are priests. -KJS
isilzha
These kind of stories make me not want to turn the TV on. Every time the church seems to take 2 steps away from a scandal, we get thrown back into another, and the media has a field day.
