She's right. I think the last time they let the sun out of its cage was for the Superbowl win!

No wonder I haven't seen you! I was about to call and see if you still had a pulse. You've missed a lot. ;)

Are you here temporarily, or did you make the move and not tell anybody?

Shea and I are looking for housing and schools for Peyton.

there are alot of Catholic schools here!!!

and most of them are really nice!! (except the fact they are close to XIX)

I will be back to normal posting on Saturday.

let us turn this thread into a 'how much you miss me' thread..

on a scale from 1 -10 (1 is "OH MY I MISS YOU TO MUCH", 10 is "PLEASE COME BACK JASON I MISS YOU SOOOOOOOOO MUCH")

It depends on where your company is. Cranberry and north is the growing area - thats toward the snow belt :) , housing is probably cheaper on the eastern side of Pgh - Monroeville, Penn Hills etc commuting from the west -Carnegie etc is a pain. In Pittsburgh proper Regent Square is a lovely area - Shadyside and Oakland outrageously expensive.

Correct me if I'm wrong cmom, but Greensburg is supposed to be reasonably cheap in housing as well?

Absolutely, but I was thinking MLKs job would be in Pittsburgh. Gburg is in Westmoreland County and they have not had property reassessments since 1973, Butler since 1969. I really would like it if the legislature could get its act together for about 5 minutes and pass a bill mandating the redos across the state consistantly - maybe every 10 years or so. All hell is gonna break loose when those outlying counties get their first real tax bill based on a % of market value. Even though the housing market has gone down it will be a real surprise.

So, basically, you're even? :detective:

Weird you're moving north and I'm moving south, Mr. Itsfiftyandimfreezingmytailoff.

But seriously, I always miss you! Maybe sometime on my way to or from Oklahoma I can stop in? :)

Oh wow, they've not been reassessed in three decades?! I agree with you then, he should steer clear lest he get a fun surprise when the people in charge of assessing properties remember their job...
