Iacobus
Last summer to lose weight and gain strenghen I started to run a TON and do a lot of crunchs and a lot of pushups. I droped like 25 lbs and 5% body fat in 3 months. And I was a ton stronger and able to lift and run and all that more.

Cesar624
I just started taking Shotokan Karate on Monday, and lemme tell you, I feel stronger and more energetic already! The Sen-Pai told me that I'm not gonna get big n buff - but I am gonna gain muscle n get tones n lose a lot of body fat. He said in about 2 months I should notice results. I can't wait! Hey, you should take up Karate - any style will do. It's a beautiful art and you get in shape while you're at it!
Sinner
ANNIE: I am in Dallas/Fort Worth Texas..... in the middle of the 2... Regarding "floating head" crunches, nah I don't care for em either, but they make good future neck patients! LOL. Regarding Ahhnold and full sit ups....... he has had back problems for a long time (j/k... I really dunno if thas true). Peace all.....
Laudate_Dominum
I've heard people mentioning running for getting buff. What does running do?
Sammy Blaze
What kind of warmups/stretches should I do?
For Running, just make sure you stretch the quads ( Front thigh ) Hamstrings (back of the leg) hips, groin, back and calves. www.ashanet.org/siliconvalley/ marathon/files/topten.pdf <--- has top ten running stretches
I've heard people mentioning running for getting buff. What does running do?
Running + water gives you great muscle definition. The best weight trainers run to get "cuts," so they don't just look all bulky hope that helps ~S.
