Laudate_Dominum
It's all about pull-ups. Thanks
annie
Laudate, AHHH-nold may like sit-ups, but personally, crunches fill the bill, and are easier on the low back. Also, support that neck when you do them!!! (Sinner may disagree with me, but I don't care for 'floating heads' when crunches are performed). If you are targeting your abdominals, crunches are da bomb (am I showing my age using an outdated term?)
littleflower+JMJ
when i had to go to therepy the PT made me do all that. crunches, situps.... it was a party!! :balloons:
Laudate_Dominum
thanks annie. hmm.. AHHH-nold.. hehe I like that. I don't think you were showing your age by saying da-bomb. If so then I'm in trouble too cause I've said that on here before.

IcePrincessKRS
I do pilates once a week (I'm working on doing it more frequently.... I promise....), but I don't think that that will make you "buff." lol I'm more into trying to stay in shape and get rid of the last bit of baby flab.... I figure if I can get into shape now when we get pregnant again I will have a better exercise routine than I did with Adrienne. (Labor wasn't all that difficult--comparatively speaking--but it probably could have been even easier if I weren't so lazy...)

yesygerm
Kid riding on your back can add a lot of weight--and entertain too!! My hubby does push ups with youngest son 'riding' and both have a fun time!!!
I buddy and I usually train at the beach where he and I take turns carring one another on our backs for a good 20 yards. No pain no gain!!! immaculata
What about running? It's something I'd like to start, but I can't seem to go for more than a block w/o getting out of breath.. Any runners have some tips for a little asthmatic like me?
Sammy Blaze
Running....I love running, I'm no PT or a professional but as an ex-track person, I'd say if you wanna become a good runner overall, mix up running long distance and short sprints. If you have has asthma, take it slow hehe.. oh yea and take the advice of Mars Ill..... Breathe Slow!! Hey all this advice about getting "buff", does anyone have advice about getting "swole" Pax Christi ~S.
